Frequently asked questions
How do platform fees work?+
We charge a small percentage on each booking processed through BookingMe — 2% on Free, 1.5% on Growth, and just 1% on Pro. There are no fees on free appointments or services you mark as comped.
What about Stripe processing fees?+
Card processing is handled by Stripe at standard rates (~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). We never add a markup.
How does the marketplace commission work?+
When a brand-new client discovers you through the BookingMe marketplace, we charge a one-time commission on their first booking only. No commission ever on returning clients or clients you bring yourself (your website, Instagram, Google, etc.).
Can I change plans anytime?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade in one click. Changes prorate automatically.
Is there an annual billing discount?+
Yes. Pay annually and save ~15% on Growth and Pro.
Do I need a credit card to start?+
No card required for the Free plan. The 14-day Growth trial doesn't charge until day 15 — cancel anytime.
